Daudpur, or also known as Daudpur t Gaighat, is a village in Zamania tehsil of Ghazipur district, it was a part of Daudpur estate of Dewaitha, and was established by Daud Khan , who gave his name to the mauza, he probably made a soldier settlement here, and donated the land , because of which the place got its name. It's gram panchayat also consist of Gharwa urf prahaldpur.
