Heeps started out at Stoke City Centre of Excellence, where she played u-11 and u-13 football before moving on to join Liverpool Regional Talent Centre in 2016.

She played for Liverpool at u-14 and u-16 level, where she was presented with the Outstanding Player Achievement award, a trophy won previously by Niamh Charles.

Heeps remained with Liverpool Academy for 2 years, until joining Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021.

Eleanor Caitlin Heeps (born 4 August 2003) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Women's Super League (WSL) club Tottenham Hotspur. She previously played for Women's Championship sides Blackburn Rovers, Coventry United, and Sheffield United.

Early life

Heeps is from Crewe, Cheshire. She attended Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College. A goalkeeper, Heeps was shortlisted for Young Sports Achiever of the Year at the 2018 Everybody Awards.

Heeps started out at Stoke City Centre of Excellence, where she played u-11 and u-13 football before moving on to join Liverpool Regional Talent Centre in 2016.

She played for Liverpool at u-14 and u-16 level, where she was presented with the Outstanding Player Achievement award, a trophy won previously by Niamh Charles.

Heeps remained with Liverpool Academy for 2 years, until joining Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021.

Club career

On 13 August 2021, Heeps signed for WSL side Tottenham Hotspur, prior to joining Women's Championship club Backburn Rovers on loan for the 2021–22 season.

On 21 October 2023, she joined Women's Championship club Sheffield United until January 2024.

On 24 April 2024, Heeps signed a new three-year contract with Tottenham Hostpur.

International career

In October 2021, Heeps represented the England under-19s in 2022 U19 Championship qualification matches in the starting eleven against Northern Ireland and as a substitute against Switzerland, with England winning both matches and progressing to the second round.
