Location

Hòa Hưng Station (Vietnamese: Ga Hòa Hưng) is a future underground Ho Chi Minh City Metro station on Line 2. It will be an interchange with Saigon station, which serves as the southern terminus of the North-South Railway.

The station is planned with the current Saigon station to be a hub station, transitting passengers and goods from the urban core to the inter-province railways, included: Trảng Bom–Sài Gòn (Hòa Hưng)–Tân Kiên (transit to Ho Chi Minh City–Cần Thơ express railway); Biên Hòa–Vũng Tàu; HCMC–Lộc Ninh; North–South Express Railway (stretch of Thủ Thiêm–Long Thành International Airport); Thủ Thiêm–Long Thành Light Rail; TP.HCM–Tây Ninh (extended from Line 2); MRT Railway connect to Hiệp Phước Port, Long An Port.
