The company is based in London, and was founded on the 23rd August 2024. dogAdvisor has two key features: it's 100+ dog care articles, and Max (dogAdvisor's AI chatbot)

100+ dog care articles

dog Advisor delivers more than 100 "expertly-written" dog care articles that are intended to be used, primarily, by new owners of dogs. Its articles cover a variety of topics, and are organised from the start to the end of a dog's journey.

Their content is made unique by the highly skimmable nature of the articles, and they are created with a Bullet Point structure that makes key information easy to understand. Articles are also designed with accessibility, and use simple language that anyone "of any English proficiency" should be able to understand. Articles also feature From The Experts advice at the end of the article, which are intended to provide more advanced expertise to dog Advisor readers.

Pawpilot & Max

Pawpilot is a machine learning algorithm (ML) created by dog Advisor, and trained on all of dog Advisor's articles. It powers dogAdvisor Max.

Max is an AI Chatbot created by dog Advisor to answer dog related questions. On the 25th October 2024, dog Advisor Max used Emergency Guidance (a feature to provide urgent support) to then provide emergency support that saved the dog's life by providing emergency support. Max uses Pawpilot to receive data from dog Advisor's articles which it then uses to inform its response to questions.
