Speedy requests

Hi, I've just deleted Two Shores and Three Territories and Two Shores and Four Territories as requested. You didn't give a reason for the deletions, but I treated them as G7s, ie. requests by only author. In the future it would be great if you could remember to include one of the standard reasons (per WP:CSD) so that the attending admin doesn't have to guess. Also, this has the added advantage that it ensures you check that the page is actually in scope for speedy deletion. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:54, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

Embedding navboxes within other navboxes.

Please STOP embedding navboxes within other navboxes. This is inappropriate and you are just making a horrendous mess. See WP:BRD and seek consensus for your bold edits. For the meantime reverting to the last decent version before you came along. --woodensuperman 17:43, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

Looking back at your edits over the past two weeks, you've made a load of edits to navboxes that really don't follow our guidelines, and quite frankly are all over the place. Before I request Administrator intervention please could you revert your edits to the last good versions and seek consensus for your preferred changes prior to making any edits to navboxes, and before you make any further edits. Nevertheless, after thoroughly reading WP:BIDIRECTIONAL, I understand that it is entirely your personal preference that relevant navboxes cannot be incorporated into other navboxes. After reading WP:SMALLTEXT, I understand that I did not make any mistake against it. Misplaced Pages:NOTHERE is a strong allegation. Please try to carefully use those allegations. I have agreed that the template for White English-speaking people should be deleted. That was a navbox I made in an earlier stage, but I am satisfied that all other navboxes I created are necessary and consistent with their main articles. I would like to talk with the Administrators for those issues. Honestly, there are so many more issues with your edits. For example, in the template {{Ethnic groups in Japan}} you have changed the title link from Ethnic groups of Japan to a subsection of another page completely, but still use the same title for the link. That is just one of many inappropriate edits. Per previous message and per WP:BRD, please revert all your navbox edits and discuss. You need to follow this procedure. You made a lot of bold edits, I reverted, now you need to discuss and seek consensus for your changes. Unfortunately, I cannot satisfy your personal preferences. I appreciate that you have plenty of time and energy, and I would love to see you making more good-quality articles. While it is a good practice to link Misplaced Pages supplemental pages such as Misplaced Pages:NOTHERE, but it should not be a way to abuse people. Please follow the process of WP:BRD, or I'll bring your conduct up with an admin. Your edits have been challenged, you need to discuss and find consensus for YOUR personal preference. Rather than embed all these navboxes into one another, if you truly believe they should all be viewed together you should seek consensus to merge properly, like I have done at this discussion page. Regarding navbox format allegation

@Bbb23,

Your friend @Woodensuperman made a comment on Misplaced Pages:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2024_December_21#Template:Ethnic_groups_in_Taiwan saying "the creator of this template has been blocked for making exactly these kind of edits."

He was saying that I was blocked exactly because I embeded other navboxes in the navboxes I made.

Can you clarify if this is ONE OF the reasons why I was blocked PERMANENTLY? Note, I am not asking you about any other reason, which are not relevant to this question, I am asking you if this is one of the reasons that I was blocked.

I am not even asking you to unblock me, because it is not appropriate for someone who abused his power to rehabitate this as if nothing happened. If you don't have an answer to my question to @Bbb23 and @Woodensuperman, you can leave this conversation. I did not invite you here, although you have the right to continue commenting here. Misplaced Pages is not a black box, any tyrannical comment or action will be recorded. I am seeking my answer to this particular question, and I can read. I read the reason @Bbb23 gave and every page in relation to this matter, which has been carefully recorded by myself.

@Woodensuperman's comment on Misplaced Pages:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2024_December_21#Template:Ethnic groups in Taiwan, AND the way he utilised my blocking and swiftly sought speedy deletion (https://archive.ph/2qHi0) & (https://archive.ph/rdnru) (not even willing to wait until the end of the deletion discussion initiated by himself) right after I was blocked by his friend @Bbb23 showed a pattern that he was not trying to be neutral or objective to protect the knowledge, but being personal.

He was telling people that something should to be deleted immediately, just because someone was blocked. That is very misleading to other Wikipedians.

He was also telling others that the navboxes should be in the way he like. Otherwise, people may be blocked just like me, because "Also note that the creator of this template has been blocked for making exactly these kind of edits." That is also quite misleading to other Wikipedians.

Why should I seek unblocking before I settle these matters? I don't make money from Misplaced Pages, just like you and others. I should also remind that @Bbb23 was making an inadequate notice when he blocked me, because "unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~" is not the only way to seek unblocking, especially when he made an indefinite block, not just a few days block. That requires even more detailed notice regarding how to seek unblocking or appeal.
