You would do well to undo the edit or add "who was" to the sentences to make them grammatically sensible. It will save other editors a lot of work if you can take accountability for your error. | ::It appears that you're just adding "from YYYY to YYYY" and not copying the rest. It's not a sentence that way. It anticipates that there is more to the sentence. Now that I know where you copied it from, you omitted the part that says "as been memorialized in many town, city, and county names." But without an edit summary, how are we to know where it came from or the logic of it? US cabinet nominees

Changing intros to election pages
@Surtsicna: if you want to propose (at WP:CANADA) removing bold titles from the intros of all Canadian federal, provincial, territorial, municipal (etc) elections? I'll support such a proposal.
