Hi, and welcome. Please add a new section when starting a new topic.
I may add section headers and attribution for comments, and I may adjust margins and alignment for clarity.

Number of speakers of Sanskrit
Dude. I'm almost completely out of my league here...can you check out the latest mini-wasp-nest I'm trying to stir on Talk:Sanskrit language and see what you can do to find accurate data to help resolve the point I'm disputing? I understand per your previous posts to me that you're not a native Hindian speaker, but I'm hoping you'll know where to put a request for figures that are more relevant than a ridiculous "right down to the individual" number from (gasp!) 1961 for Sanskrit speakers... I could use some help...
Hey, I feel really stupid. I was welcoming PlatypeanArchcow, who had red links on user and talk pages, when I accidently added the note on his/her user page. Just wondering if you could delete the page for the user, in case they don't want a user page. (I guess it does qualify for speedy delete as I am the author...). Thanks. --Dmcdevit 22:42, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Ahh... prompt service, I would recommend you to anyone! --Dmcdevit 22:54, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- To tell you the truth, I just looked at my watchlist for the most recent edit by an admin, and that's how I knew you were online :) Quite clever if I may say so myself! --Dmcdevit 05:26, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)
You stole my name!
Hey, you stole my name! I am the Knowledge Seeker. You seem to have beaten me to it on Misplaced Pages. That's ok; I have it in other domains.
Anyway, congratulations on such a wise and skillful choice of name, even if you were just unconsciously copying me. :-)

Muahaha! Seriously, thanks, I appreciate it. I had no frickin' idea what I was going to do with that thing, but it cleaned up pretty well once I did a little research. Have fun! · Katefan0 02:57, Apr 22, 2005 (UTC)
= 9, the Selfish humanist
I have no disagreement with anyone: my friends and I often post under different usernames, and we post things that are inside jokes and don't make any sense to anyone else. Therefore, anyone who is "offended" by what I write must know me personally, and would probably have the decency to return my phone calls.

Jerk!
I know what I was doing. I was destoying John Edward's page! He's an idiot!
- Gotta hate anonymous users as an admin, don't ya? --Harro5 07:21, Apr 23, 2005 (UTC)
- You're right; most vandalism comes from anonymous users. But anonymous users also make a lot of great edits and help fight vandalism, so it would be unfair to characterize them all the same way. Besides, I was an anonymous user once too =) Ideally, this guy will find an area of Misplaced Pages to which he can make positive contributions, and stay. — Knowledge Seeker দ 07:28, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Indeed. 24.16.36.37, whether or not John Edwards is an idiot is entirely your point of view. Misplaced Pages is all about writing in as soulless and robotic a manner as possible(!) so your own opinion does not taint the article. Please bear this in mind for future edits. Master Thief Garrett 08:16, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I wouldn't exactly characterize the preferred writing style as soulless and robotic, although if one has difficulty deciding how much emotion to put in an article it'd be better to err on the side of less. But you are correct; the edits 24 was making were certainly unacceptable. — Knowledge Seeker দ 10:48, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Well, at least (s)he's being honest about it. There's nothing like some good ol' vandalism to raise the spirits and annoy your enemies.
- Ah, yes--I think I should write a position paper on the many virtues of vandalism. :-) - Pioneer-12 10:27, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, and label it with the semi-policy header, and have a poll on it, and have some swear by it and others swear AT it... :-) Master Thief Garrett 10:30, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Not only honest, but the user was also kind enough to start a new section for his comment. — Knowledge Seeker দ 10:48, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Some questions about Misplaced Pages
Hi,
I vandalized some pages. I am surprised that it was corrected so fast. Is it like that for all pages or only for prominent ones?
thank you for your revert. Xtra 11:37, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Bangla grammar table
I finished transcribing the simple past tense and made a few other minor changes. Do we need to transcribe the list of pronouns? If we do, I'd have to request you to extend the table when you get time. I am yet to learn the fun with all those "|" marks. -- Urnonav 14:19, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

how to stretch the recent changes page was a good article.

best go for a pre-emptive strike. You know I'm only going to ressurect that stretch page.
User:65.103.217.86
Thanks for addressing User:65.103.217.86. Spam for this website has come from more than one IP, so if we can dissuade rather than bluntly block then that is all the better. Cheers, -Willmcw 08:17, Apr 26, 2005 (UTC)
User Xtra moderates with a conservative agenda, - literally witholding information to suit his political platform 0 and so many people are frustrated with him, he should be the one getting a warning. He ven moderates pages of his poilitical rival and tells them what their pages should conatain, and yet is resistent to others wanting to change his political idol.
Anon User
The anon user who continually vandalises my page and has put up excuses here is not as geniune as he claims.
The IP address is extremely similar to the many ones used by PSYCH.
The conflict that the anon refers to is months old and the way the anon describes it is exteremely misleading. It has already been to the arbitration committee and resolved that PSYCH is on personal attack parol. There is not much more to it than that. PSYCH is apparantly trying to avoid detection by editting anonomously. This does not fool me as the M.O. is suspiciously similar each time.
If you wish to see the arbitration case click here.
Anyway, thank you for your efforts on my page. Xtra 11:04, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Please Delete Aaron Scott Topic
I was unclear about how Misplaced Pages works. And I give you permission to delete it, as it indeed does not belong here.
Thank you.

"Licence" is just one of those words that I don't think I'll ever learn to spell properly! I'm generally not a fan of American spellings, but this one I'm not bothered about at all really as I can't spell it consistently myself! Thryduulf 18:07, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
(Tag) Size Matters
This is in reference to the discussion I started at Wikipedia_talk:Babel. I'm going to put the Persian and English stubs here side-by-side so that you can see the size difference for yourself.
The only way I can make the Persian tag smaller is by removing the English translation. Even then, it's a tight fit for some of the subcat tags. Any suggestions? Do you know of any other admins or other Wikipedians who might be of help? I really want to coordinate with other tagmakers so that these don't all come out different sizes. --Jpbrenna 01:26, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Xiong
Hi there! Because the RFC about Xiong seemed to deal mainly on his disagreements with Netoholic, I thought it best to start a new RFC to see if people have comments on Xiong's behavior that do not relate to Netoholic. Please give your thoughts and/or opinion on that at Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/Xiong. Radiant_* 08:27, Apr 27, 2005 (UTC)

There has been some debate over several issues... including the leading photograph for the article. Seeing your name was listed under the list of Wikipedians living in Chicago, I thought you might want to help decide and solve some of the issues. -- AllyUnion (talk) 11:24, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I think you could let him/her blank the talkpage. They've got the message, I think. The warning won't disappear just because the user blanks "their" talkpage.Grace Note 10:16, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
