A few clarifications from various estonian-languague newspaper interviews with her. She was arrested at age 14 (spent 15th birthday in NKVD holding cells in the infamous Pagari Str. building). Also, she wasn't a suspect initially, but was arrested together with a group of schoolchildren who tried to smuggle out a wounded forest brother from guarded hospital, someone broke and mentioned the statue during interrogations. Nice quote: "It was wooden. We could have just doused it with gasoline and set fire to it, but we wanted it to go with a bang". Edgar Vares-Barbarus23:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
