The Adler Planetarium is a public planetarium located on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was founded by Max Adler in 1930 and its main attraction is a Zeiss planetarium projector. In addition, it contains a large collection of historical astronomical, navigational, and mathematical instruments. It is part of a large "museum park" located south of the Loop, which also includes the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium.
