Danish Estonia, a dominion of Denmark (1219-1346).
Principality of Estonia (Estland), a short-lived principality (1561-1578).
Swedish Estonia, a dominion of Sweden (1578-1721).
Reval Governorate, a guberniya of Russian Empire formed in what had previously been Swedish Estonia, and was later known as Governorate of Estonia in 1796-1918.
