Amity University is a private university in India. It was founded by Dr. Ashok Chauhan under the Ritnand-Balved Education Foundation. It has campuses in Sector-44 and Sector-125, Noida. Accreditation
The Amity University has been enacted by the UP State legislature under the "Amity University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005" and notified through Government of Uttar Pradesh Gazette Notification No. 403/VII-V-1-1(Ka) 1/2005 dated March 24, 2005. Amity University is a fully government recognized University with the right to confer degrees as the per sections 2f and 22(1) of the UGC Act.
