This mentions Ain-Ervin Mere as being a NKVD agent code-named "Müller" since 1940. However, I would not call the source even remotely reliable, although being written by "Jüri Kadak, Doctor of Politology, independent expert of security and political technology" (whatever the latter means).
Also, has his picture, but I don't think it is out of copyright. What is the copyright status of WWII-portraits - or can we have it under fair use?
