==Controversies==
In September 2004, Day publicly challenged fellow ] commentator ] to an on-air debate on the Northern Alliance Radio Show after writing a pair of columns criticizing numerous factual inaccuracies in her book "]". Malkin declined the debate.

In May 2006 Day was criticised repeatedly on air by national radio host ] for an article published on ] in which he compared removal of illegal immigrants in the United States of America to the ] ] while opposing a fence on the southern border of the United States. His statement were as follows:

''If it took the Germans less than four years to rid themselves of 6 million Jews, many of whom spoke German and were fully integrated into German society, it couldn't possibly take more than eight years to deport 12 million illegal aliens, many of whom don't speak English and are not integrated into American society.''
