Smosh is a video-creating duo that has established fame on YouTube; Anthony Padilla (born 16 September, 1987) and Ian Hecox (born 30 November, 1987). Smosh is the most subscribed channel of all time on YouTube (as of June 2007), with 125,000+ subscribers, over 30,000 more than any other channel. Smosh's videos have been viewed by millions of people and have appeared on mainstream television. Padilla and Hecox both attend American River College and live in Carmichael, California, a city near Sacramento.

Smosh's Pokémon Theme Music Video was one of the most viewed videos on YouTube until it was removed for copyright reasons by the Shogakukan Production Co. Ltd. (It is still available on smosh.com). It had over 24 million views.

In March 2007, Smosh won the award for "Best Comedy of 2006" with the video "Smosh Short 2: Stranded" in YouTube's first ever YouTube Video Awards.

Smosh's alternate account on YouTube is IanH where they show clips of things they don't consider worth the attention of the masses that watch videos from their Smosh account. Smosh is popular enough that even this account is in the YouTube Top 100 Most Subscribed list at #65 with over 14,000 subscribers.
