You are correct that it is better to check for any redirects to the old page, and that is precisely what the MediaWiki software started doing yesterday; the day before, it actually didn't provide any links, and I had to go to the actual page and proceed to "What links here" from the article itself. Hiatus Road is an article I spent much time on. Being familiar with the route I personally find it a notable road and only edited the article as I saw a request for expansion. Please feel free to expand the article once assesed as start class needing a map and vote on the AfD. Wikilinks in NFL Drafts

I see that you have wikilinked college and position names every time they appear in the NFL Drafts like the following see here. You should only link the first instance the college, team or position names appears. Thank You. •Gman124 18:11, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

I had nominated 2001 NFL Draft for featured list, and other editors made me change the draft, so that the team, college, and position names only link once before they voted for support. So I just assumed that we were supposed to link the first instance only, but I'm not really sure. Gman124 10:49, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

If the main article is at "National Football League" then I figured all such articles containing "NFL" in the title should be consistently moved with the main title's name. Exceptions include NFL Blitz, for instance, whose name is just that. As for the NFL draft redirects, I sincerely apologize for the hassle. I personally looked at the "What links here" for every move, and fixed several hundred double redirects. I found several of the NFL draft redirects after the fact, when I accidentally looked at "What links here" for the article NFL Draft itself.
