Klausen (German) or Chiusa (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km northeast of Trento and about 20 km northeast of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,863 and an area of 51.4 km².

The municipality of Klausen (Chiusa) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Gudon, Lazfons, and Verdignes.

Klausen borders the following municipalities: Villnöß, Lajen, Sarntal, Vahrn, Feldthurns, and Villanders.
