==Bundswehr/Heer/etc/regimental translation== | |||
Hi Janet: In re: the offer to translate the names of German regiments, etc, it would make you my best wiki-pal, since mil. history is my primary focus of my wiki efforts, and I can already ''usually'' translate Spanish and French regiments into something resembling thier American or British equvalents. (Divison de blindee= armoured regiments/cav. (Although French and British regiments tend to have a heavier focus on "armored cars" rather than tanks, and the U.S. armoured regiments have heavier components of APCs and infantrymen). Since the German-speaking Armies (Germany, Austria and (partially) Switzerland) are some of the largest left in the "western world" it would be good if we could expand wikipedias coverage of German-language regiments from both the war years and the present day.
