full protection In spite of a detailed search for consensus as soon as the consensus wording is added, user SlimVirgin reverted the discussion, claiming no consensus. I note that there is an assumption that silence is approval. Further there is complex 3RR via tag-teaming with Crum365. Further, the wording being sought in policy is closely related to another edit-war dispute at Factory farming which relies on non-acedemic sources being placed higher than well validated sources. full protection +cascade, +expiry 1 month, Full protection: High-visible template, Since this last July 7th 2007, there is an increase of attention because Machu Picchu has been selected as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World (Which also have been protected), this has awakening some intense and radical views and disputes, many of which are irrational in nature. I suggest that you also protect the other new wonders, since I have been seeing that some of the same users has reverted or deleted information about it. In addition, there are vandals that have been blocked from the Spanish version that now want to continue with their misbehaviors in this version and for some reason especially with these type of articles. It looks like the most recent IP edit was from a different, productive user, 84.9.228.106 (who would unfortunately be locked out of the article with sprotection), while the disruptive edits are coming from the 86.108.x.x range. The disruptive editor has in fact made arrogant comments at the talk page, which seems to indicate that he knows what he's doing. Ƙɽɨɱρᶓȶ 18:05, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

semi-protect. As the Halo 3 Alternate Reality Game is going on, people are just getting on and copying and pasting from the halo wiki into this wiki. I am trying to wikify the article so that it has a place here but people just keep getting on and adding whatever shows up on the Halo Wiki. I have tried in the past to cut things down but people just want to copy and paste, a lot of the major copying and pasting is done from ip addresses.
