Summary
Capel-le-Ferne (Population 2140), whose name derives from the phrase "Chapel in the Ferns", is situated in the district of Dover. Perched atop the , it's foremost attraction is the Battle of Britain Memorial, opened by the Queen Mother and dedicated to those who fought and lost their lives over the channel during World War II.
