Kimmeria (Greek: Κιμμέρια, previously known as Kiougioukki) is a settlement in the Xanthi prefecture of Greece (Longitude: 24° 56'5" E, Latitude: 41° 8'36" N). It is located 740 kilometers from Athens, 233 kilometers from Thessalonica, and 5 kilometers west of Xanthi. In 1981, the population of Kimmeria was around 3588 inhabitants. In 1991, the population declined to around 2627 inhabitants.
