Olivia Hussey (born Olivia Osuna on April 17 1951 in Buenos Aires Argentina) is a British actress who appeared as Juliet in Zeffirelli's 1968 movie version of Romeo and Juliet. She is memorable in the Canadian horror movie Black Christmas (1974) directed by Bob Clark. Hussey also played Mary, the mother of Jesus in the 1977 television mini-series Jesus of Nazareth, also a Zeffirelli film. One of Hussey's great performances was as Rebecca of York in the 1982 made for TV remake of Ivanhoe. Hailed everywhere as a rare natural beauty, she reportedly wore next to no makeup and is also known for her husky voice. An exotic mix of her British and Argentine heritage.

Hussey was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the daughter of Andreas Osuna, famous Argentine opera and tango singer, and her mother is British. She moved to England when she was seven and attended Drama Schools. Her greatest breakthrough was being chosen amongst hundreds of other contestants for the role of Juliet in 1968.

Hussey was married to actor Dean Paul Martin (son of the famous Rat Pack singer/actor, Dean Martin) from 1971 until 1978. They had a son, Alexander Dean Martin, in 1973. Years later she married Japanese musician Akira Fuse and bore one son, Maximillian Fuse. After their divorce in the late 1980's Mrs. Hussey married a third time to David Glen Eisley, an American musician. They have had Mrs. Hussey's third child, daughter India Joy Eisley.

In 2003, Hussey played the lead in a film adaptation on the life of Mother Teresa.
