Your comment kinda affected me as well, considering he got it from me. You really didn't need to put that on there at all. If you don't like it, that doesn't mean that you have to say so. I don't agree that it would have been "rude" if you didn't say it. In some cases, its better to keep your opinions to yourself.Silver seren 02:32, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- True, but you didn't have to be so rude about it. And now your being really rude by putting something on mine as well. I'm going to go revert it now.Silver seren 02:38, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not being sensitive at all; You're being rude. There was no need to go and put something on mine as well, thats was rude. Why do you need to criticize my "taste" anyways? It isn't an article or anything. Those I freely accept criticisms on. Your just trying to say that i'm being sensitive without recognizing your own rudeness.Silver seren 02:46, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Your ignoring me, aren't you? Silver seren 02:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- (yawns) Okay, I just woke up...I feel better. Thats what I get for staying up late. Can we just be done with this? I don't really want to talk about it anymore.Silver seren 15:28, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- I did...but i'm still not taking it down. I understand that one of the main problems is that it confuses new people, but...they should be able to get it. It's not like it's that hard. And other people agree that its still funny. Plus, considering that I never, ever want to be a admin, there's no hindrance there. Thank you for your opinion though.Silver seren 15:36, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Besides, other thought it was funny, we don't care about your rude opinions. Cheers, JetLover 23:30, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: Sockpuppet vs meatpuppet
I would not have an issue with the SSP report being deleted. It is possible that the user is a sockpuppet, but unlikely given that other factors are a bit more prominent. That said, I hope the RfA turns out well (where "well", at this point, means "minimum personal attacks"). Cheers, Gracenotes § 16:56, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Since you created it, WP:CSD#G7 would apply, with the template {{db-author}}. (Just as it would for a fair amount of TfD nominations, actually...) Gracenotes § 17:15, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Seeing that, I removed the joke and put it on one of my subpages. Thanks for telling me, about the thing, I just thought your comment was rude, but thanks anyway. Cheers, JetLover 00:01, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

It is still parody. Just because it is reported in the press does change that fact.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.101.199.15 (talk) 13:33, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Re:msg
Disagree with that, much of the article is entirely unreferenced. This isn't a matter of verification and backup of sources, it's a matter of having sources in the first place. I won't revert your change, but I highly suggest that you do yourself-- not to mention the fact that next time you remove a (desperately needed) tag, you replace it with the appropriate one, if that's your intention --Lucid 00:06, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
South Tyrol location
Now that South Tyrol has been moved to Province of Bolzano-Bozen, if you care, please add your opinion on the future of South Tyrol here: Talk:Province_of_Bolzano-Bozen#Whither_South_Tyrol.3F. — AjaxSmack 00:23, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Tyrol (disambiguation)
Check out the additional edits I made. I was trying to make a consistent format and also add as much info as possible (which I feel is fun :). I put in references to Alto Adige and also Trentino, since it is referred to sometimes as Italian Tyrol. Anyway, see what you think. I will really be happy and content if we finally make these articles written in a NPOV manner that celebrates the multi-ethnic history of this great area. :)) Icsunonove 22:03, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, nice work on the references. :-) Icsunonove 07:32, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
WP:WAF Policy change proposal
I find it difficult to try and change policy when the policy keeps stopping the change. Despite the fact that I know policy is not suppose to change according to consensus, there still were multiple votes that did favor the change. Yet every time someone tried to user the rule (quoted on the same page you quoted me): "1. Try something new in practice; if it works, people will follow suit, and you have a new policy" the policy-keepers at WP:WAF jump in and revert before people ever know that something new was being tried. When I did try something new to fix this, creating Template:s-fic, it won the deletion war yet was removed from virtually all pages that used it. How are you suppose to "try something new in practice" if the policy keepers revert before you ever get the chance? I would like to know how it really works, "How to modify a policy" in actuality, instead of just by the definition of the header.

- Regarding your revert reason stated, see Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style_(writing_about_fiction)#Succession_boxes_for_fictional_characters and count the oppose/support across the entire section including the section breaks. There is consensus in the debate by nearly 2/3 a majority.–Whaleyland (16:46, August 20, 2007)
Talk:Val Passiria
Yes I know... the same old, boring conflict Italian vs German name, but I think in this case i have the Naming Conventions on my side. Maybe you're interested, Mai-Sachme 16:05, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for the confusion, but the discussion unsheathed that Passeier Valley seems to be more common than Passeiertal. So I decided to change the request according to this result. If this fact should change your voting, please amend it. Mai-Sachme 17:09, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
