Republic Polytechnic is the fifth and newest polytechnic to be set up in Singapore. It's temporary campus was set up in 2003 at Tanglin Road and utilises the Problem-based learning (PBL) approach. The polytechnic currently has 4 schools and 3 centres, that offer diplomas in Information Technology, Engineering, Science and New Media, and an enrolment of over 3000 students. The polytechnic will move to a new campus situated in Woodlands by 2006.
