According to official policy, Misplaced Pages is ]. For the most part, that is exactly what Misplaced Pages appears to be. There are countless avenues to deal with editing abuse, and almost all are ineffective. I love the idea of an encyclopedia anyone can edit, and the free exchange of information is of course a great thing. However, when I look at all of the avenues for dispute resolution, and how often they are used, I can't help but feel like there is something fundamentally flawed with the project. The breaking point came when I realized that I was actually stressed about how people would react to a proposed move I was considering. I was gearing up for a battle, and that's the last thing I wanted.

I may pop up from time to time, but I won't be a regular editor anymore
