Stampy is an elephant appearing in The Simpsons animated television show. Bart wins the elephant in a radio contest called "KBBL wants to give you something stupid." The listener was supposed to take $10,000 cash instead of the elephant, but Bart caused a major uproar when he was denied the elephant. KBBL mangement forced DJs Bill & Marty to give Bart the elephant or else they would be fired and replaced by a machine.

The elephant soon causes trouble (and a burning hole in the family wallet) and a poacher, Mr. Blackheart, offers to buy him, but the Simpsons decide to give him to a wild life reserve.

Stampy is alluded to in other episodes. At Apu's wedding, Bart sees Apu riding an elephant. Bart comments "I wish I had an elephant." "You did," Lisa replies. "His name was Stampy. You loved him very much." Stampy also turns up in the episode "Large Marge", involved in a gimmick by Krusty the Klown.
