Hi. if you move something to Wiktionary, please can you state who the original authors were to adhere to the GFDL. I normally write the authors and the original page address in the edit summary when I paste it in. Otherwise there is no record of that person's contribution when the article here is deleted. You just need the 5 main authors, so if someone has just added a VfD notice - you don't have to list them. Thanks. ] 00:21, Oct 12, 2003 (UTC) |

HOW did you make the links for Nuclear Tests work? I have not posted in quite some tim and I need to be retrained.
thanks, Paul
Hello. I noticed that you merged the content of How to handle rope into the Rope article a few days ago. If you do merge articles, please could you put in the edit summary something like "text moved from Page"? Otherwise it gives the impression that you are creating the content yourself. I think it's important to allow people to attribute content to its original authors. And I should point out that the "minor edit" tag is reserved for trivial edits such as formatting and spelling corrections and so on, which don't need any attention paid to them. So please don't mark edits which add text as minor. Certainly not edits that merge in the entire contents of another article - that's about as major an edit as you can get! :) Thanks... -- Oliver P. 06:48, 8 Oct 2003 (UTC)
That's okay. Thanks for the reply. I've actually added a note to Talk:Rope to say who wrote the bit on "How to handle rope", in case anyone does want to keep track. To be honest, I don't think you'd want to take credit for that section, anyway. ;) -- Oliver P. 07:08, 8 Oct 2003 (UTC)

See Talk:List of calculus topics, about alphabetisation.
