Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, later renamed Thomas and Friends is a children's television series, based on the Railway Series, and which was first broadcast in 1984. Season 11 is due to premiere in autumn of 2007. It will be narrated by Michael Angelis, and re-narrated for American audiences by Michael Brandon.

The Mayor of Sodor is getting a new sailing boat launched and Thomas is charged with delivering it to the ceremony, however when he leaves before letting the engineer lower the mast, he gets into difficulties.

A new engine called Billy arrives and Thomas must show him around. Billy is too excited to listen and mistakes Thomas' friendly advice for Thomas bossing him about.

Percy is at the Works, so Edward has to take the mail for him instead. The others all think that Edward is very wise and knows everything, and this makes Edward ashamed to ask for help when he does not know how to take the mail.
