Hey Trilla G and Griff Gardner are real
Hey what is with getting rid of pages people make. I wasnt hurting anyone, talking bad about anyone, or lying about anyone. It was a joke between me and my friends. Have you ever heard of a joke before. Lighten up a litte there. By the way it was a real group I was talking about. We might have inflated some of the info but it was all in good fun.
- But creating an article for an non-notable band is grounds for deletion. Then you recreated it which was still ground for deletion. Then you created the article again but desided to attack the website. I'm failing to see the joke as I'm not laughing. If you continue to make edits like this you will be blocked. And no I'm not joking around here. Also, out of curiosity, why the assumtion that I'm an emo? Is it the username because that's actually the name of a folk/country song that I happen to like. Venus Doom
Awesome first message, anyhow, VENUS DOOM TWO DAYS, you rip for me >.>! Heh, all the rips online from the leaks are shitty as all get out, and did you ever get the LE? --NekoD 18:56, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't have the money to get LE at the moment which really sucks but I do have enough to get SE on Saturday. Strange thing happened. Kiss of Dawn was supposed to be released last weekend and I searched every CD shop I knew, literally tore them apart(well not literally) and I couldn't find it. So now I'm looking forward to getting the album more than ever and have somehow fought the temptation to listen to them online since they got leaked. Stupid youtube links are everywhere so I'm staying away :D AngelOfSadness talk 19:01, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
JetLover's abuser
Hi there. I saw you reverted someone who has been attacking User:JetLover recently If you see similar attacks from a similar IP, please can you add that IP and information to this abuse report? Misplaced Pages:Abuse reports/bezeq. Thanks — Timotab 23:33, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- I saw this guy was a problem but I had no idea he has kept it up for all this time. I'll keep on the lookout for him. AngelOfSadness talk 20:41, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Here we go again...
Hey, remember the fun times we had with Melodic Horror? Well guess what. He's doing his thing again, from ip's. I found these two users have been editing according to his methodology. Just letting you know so you're aware... Gscshoyru 20:46, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oh yes, good times. I've learned a lot from the last time so now I'm tryimg to remember what I've learned :D. I was just thinking about himself a few days back because somehow I sensed he was returning. I'll check out the IP's for contributions/whereabouts in the world. If they're from Nuernberg Germany then we know for definate he's back and write up another sockpuppet report. Just checked the whereabouts and one is from nuernburg and the other is from Germamy but it doesn't know where. But I'll try to assume good faith as the contributions aren't exactly like melodic horrors, just some of them. (MH main ones were "To be loved", "Aslena", "Paramore Sessions" and "Papa Roach". But he is using the talkpages at least so you have to say he has learned a little from the last time or four(There was so many IP addresses). Thanks for telling me about it. I'll add MH main target articles to my watchlist and see what happens. I'm hoping that this doesn't turn bad like last time. AngelOfSadness talk 20:58, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Now this one seems more like MH. And a few of other admins have seemed to pick up on it when blocking them. AngelOfSadness talk 21:05, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Note the first two numbers of the range ip. (87.167) Compare with the others. With the fact that he's editing the same articles, I'd say they're all the same person. The ip's in the sockpuppets of AFI-PUNK category start with 87.167 as well. Gscshoyru 21:11, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- MH started off as AFI-PUNK so that's why all of the sockpuppet reports have AFI-PUNK as the master puppet. The third report of sockpuppetry was filed, completed and closed in the last few days. You'd think after, what, 5 months(AFI-PUNK was blocked in May) the guy would get bored and find something else to do. I now wonder what was he doing all of August as I haven't found any IP's in that range editing those articles. At least were not the only ones who have a problem with this guy as User:Seraphim Whipp and User:MastCell dealt with a lot of the recent MH edits. At least all of his target articles have been protected after the recent events. And if he wants to edit the articles he'll have to request an account which I'm hoping won't be accepted. But I'm watching the articles anyway. AngelOfSadness talk 21:23, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Eurocanna and Superquinn
Hi Angel. I just got a message from a user named Eurocanna who told me that he was slightly upset at the warning message you gave him after he edited the Superquinn article. You can read his message to me here. I think you made a mistake while patrolling with Twinkle, and left him uw-vandalism2 instead of uw-vandalism1. Maybe you should apologize to him :-) -- P.B. Pilhet 03:13, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- The contribution he made didn't look very constructive at the time as you can see here as it was original research/unsourced content. But now that I've re-read it I guess I must have clicked the wrong warning when using Twinkle. Usually I'm more careful but I was dealing with several different vandals and sockpuppets(My first/second/third sock report to be exact :D). I best apoligise to him as that particular warning was a tad bit harsh. Thanks for telling me really I appreciate it. AngelOfSadness talk 18:57, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- No problem :-) I figured that you were busy dealing with multiple things at the time. I use VandalProof myself, and I certainly have a good mistake count running ;-) Happy Editing! -- P.B. Pilhet 21:07, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ahh vandaltools, they make Vandal fighting easy but they don't prevent mistakes. Thanks again :D AngelOfSadness talk 21:23, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Deletions
Hi Angle,
Yesterday I attempted to link a web-page, www.runewolf.org, to several articles dealing with Nordic mythology and magic. These links were removed by someone other than yourself because they thought that the logo of the site looked like a neo-nazi promotion. This is not the case as I happen to know for a fact that the web-page, the information contained there, and the people involved, have absolutly nothing to do with politics. In fact, it is stated as such in the disclaimer. The logo in question, or at least elements of it, predate all of the that by about 1500 years! We, in fact, are attempting to link ourselves, as many others do here, to certain topics and ideas that are listed based upon relevancy.
So then my question, what can we do?
Thanks, Runvitnir —Preceding unsigned comment added by Runvitnir (talk • contribs) 13:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- See what you are trying to do, looks as though you're trying to spam wikipedia with a website in which you are connected with. Even if you don't intentionally mean to spam, it still looks as so. I looked the website you were linking and I can't exactly blame the other editor for removing the link, I mean the logo design(colours & formation), on the main page,is very similar to the Nazi Swaztika. If people look up the article about Nordic mythology and find a link which looks as though it's trying to promote Neo-Nazism, of course they are going to ask questions. I know there are many other editors are linking their websites to multiple articles aswell, but their actions are going against WP:SPAM. Also most of your contributions to wikipedia have been adding that particular link to articles which many editors can see as a spam only account. But all I can recommend is look at this for some info about spam and how not to be a spammer(it's a guideline generally followed by most wikipedians). Also I don't know much about that website's content/content of article to which you are adding the link, so before adding the link to any more articles, first bring up the link on the article's talk page so other editors can comment if the website will help the article.
One more thing, if you come across any other editors adding their website links or suspicious links to multiple wikipedia articles, please leave a message on my talkpage with their username and I can deal with them :D. Thanks for coming to me about this and if you are at all confused by all of this (above), feel free to post a message on my talkpage. Happy Editing! AngelOfSadness talk 14:43, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Listen
Angel of Sadness. We need a little Angel chat. It is very terrible to have my contributions erased. It makes me so angry. It was a simple joke. Was doesn't he post a nasty template like that on Assume Bad Faith? I don't care what he thinks. I'm ready report him soon.--Angel David 19:22, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- He's talking about me putting Template:Remove_the_empty_one that up for deletion, in case you're wondering. Gscshoyru 19:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Stay out of this!--Angel David 19:30, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've had a few of my contributions deleted but I don't go around attacking the editors who deleted them. Your messages(yes I know there's more than one)don't really come off as a simple joke, it looks very much like incivility and an attack on the editor which is a huge no-no. Even if your angry at them, try to keep a cool head when editing. Seriously what you think is a joke doesn't translate to text very well. If you continue making messages like that, it will get you blocked from editing. So don't call people names or attack them because of their edits and you won't get blocked. AngelOfSadness talk 19:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry Gscshoyru, I've been keeping track thanks to some of Angel David's edit summaries from earlier. It was kind of hard to ignore them from the RC. :D AngelOfSadness talk 19:42, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Regarding this
I thought you might like to know that that is the Cyrillic alphabet, which is, in fact, used by a lot of languages, including Bulgarian. ;-) Grandmasterka 22:08, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info, I was making a guess on the language(I know some very basic russian so that's why I said russian). I guess we learn something knew everyday :D. Thanks again AngelOfSadness talk 22:14, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Charles Page High School
The revision that you made to the article, Charles Page High School, was not vandilism. The last name of the princepal at CPHS is Trout. Please be more careful when editing for 'vandilism'.--Μ79_Šp€çíá∫횆 —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 03:22, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- To be fair to AngelOfSadness, I encourage you to take a look at the contributing IP's edit history. If that edit was in fact not vandalism, it was the first edit from that IP that wasn't. Had I been the one to see that edit, I probably would have reverted it too and left a note at User Talk:24.248.250.170 requesting a WP:CITE citation. It's also possible she hit the "rollback (vandalism)" instead of "rollback" button accidentally. They're right next to each other in Twinkle. --Clubjuggle 04:11, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- I reverted it mainly because I looked at the editor's contributions and a good chunk of them are clear blantant vandalism(they've been blocked 7 times for vandalism by the way). I might have jumped to conclusions, but what are the chances of an editor making both good faith edits and blantant vandalism ones. I mean I've never come across someone who does both and I've been on RC patrol every single day for the last three/four months for up to ten hours a day. It would have been nice if the editor at least put in a reference for the added content. But to me it looked like they were just inserting a random word as the pricipal's surname (bear in mind Trout isn't exactly known more as a surname than the fish). Even if they mentioned in the edit summary something like "It has been announced that Mr/Mrs Trout will be pricipal for the coming academic year" or "Trout is principal as confimed on the schools website". But there was nothing of the sort. The editor didn't leave an explaination to the change or a even a reference to the source of the information. So please forgive me for not thinking that this one edit was a good faith edit in the middle of forty vandalism ones. AngelOfSadness talk 19:06, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Solidarity
i wasnt being destructive theres a band called solidarity and i wanted to add them —Preceding unsigned comment added by PaygeMARIEalexander (talk • contribs) 20:05, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- But you deleted a whole load of the pages original content in the process. Also your edits were written in your point of view e.g "Solidarity is a hot Windsor, Ontario Canada band". Which clearly breaks WP:NPOV (articles are supposed to be written in a neutral tone). Also I googled the band and they only seem to have mentions on MySpace which would indicate that they aren't notable enough for their own article. AngelOfSadness talk 20:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

User talk:JoeCool1301
Technically, he is allowed to remove warnings and block notices from his talk page; it's an acknowledgement that he has read them. Of course, he's not allowed to replace them with insults against you (or anyone else), but if he wants to rant and rave in his little hold while he's blocked... I'm planning to just let him do it unless he violates policy. -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:44, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. The last rollback was a reflex, as every other edit he made to the talk page was an insult of some kind. I'm just wondering what he'll do now. AngelOfSadness talk 22:03, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Not much, for the next week, and by then, he'll probably have gotten bored and forgotten all about us. If he does come back looking for trouble... my blocking finger is all warmed up. -FisherQueen (Talk) 22:12, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- So now we have six and a half days to breathe easy. Good to know :D. I'm pretty sure that I'll be the first person he "contacts" after the block is lifted. Or he'll never come back. I guess we'll have to wait and see what he does next. AngelOfSadness talk 15:04, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Most likely he'll have forgotten all about it by then, and moved on to writing his name on the boys' room wall. If he does come back, he's just as likely to come for me, the blocking admin, as you. In any case, it isn't that difficult to revert vandalism and block. Not as much of a big deal for us as the vandals would like. -FisherQueen (Talk) 15:12, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I know vandals think that we spend the entire afternoon cleaning up just one of their edits(Like replacing the page with "Ha Ha I've ruined your page. Have a nice day" or something like that.(although not many vandals have ever said have a nice day, well not to me anyway)) . I can put your userpage on my watchlist if you like, just in case he decides to go on a final vandalism rampage under his current username. Hopefully he'll find something else to distract him. I mean how long can someone continue vandalising wikipedia without getting bored unless they have a very boring life to begin with, then they'll just continue on forever more. Signature
Hey AngelOfSadness!
Please would you consider tweaking your signature? The pastel-on-pastel approach is murder for those of us males with colour blindness! Thanks! ➔ This is REDVEЯS 19:09, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't know how to make the changes as someone else made it for me. But I'll try to edit it somehow. Now what colours exactly do not cause problems for people with colour blindness? AngelOfSadness talk 19:12, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Better or worse? AngelOfSadness talk 19:20, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Better for the contrast (for me!) But just darkening the letters a little to give some contrast would work too:
- With my colour blindness, the previous light green(?)-on-yellow has everything that could possibly go wrong for me! (The only thing worse is bright red on bright blue - the red disappears almost entirely). Each person's colour blindness (if they have it) is different, but a bit of contrast can usually get over it. Thanks for your understanding! :o) ➔ This is REDVEЯS 19:26, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- No problemo. I thought it was about time for a colour change in the signature anyway. Cheers AngelOfSadness talk 19:29, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for the barnstar. It's so pretty. AngelOfSadness talk 19:41, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Maybe a Tribute Username?
I just spied this in the new Username creation log: User:Angelofhatred, and since it was created shortly after you reported a Username for Administrator Attention (which was blocked), it looked suspiciously like a "tribute". I'll leave it up to your discretion as to whether any response is necessary. OfficeGirl 21:16, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- It could be a tribute Username as all of the usernames I made to UAA today were blocked (6 in total, a lot of them were very similar to each other). There have been a surprising amount of tribute usernames lately like here. It does sound plausible as I found that usernames that were blocked had other accounts with similar names less than two minutes later editing the same articles. Maybe we'll have to take this to an admin for advice because it could be a coincidence but then again it could be a tribute. AngelOfSadness talk 21:31, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I guess it's a good idea to keep an eye on the username for contribs, and then also to check if the IP address matches the "Misplaced Pages Should end" user. Anyhow, I guess congratulations are in order...? OfficeGirl 21:47, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yay I've never had a "tribute" username before so this is very new. I've got Angelofhatred's contribs bookmarked on my browser and I will check it for any suspicious edits. If their edits are similar to that of "wikipdia should end" (like their spelling typos are very hard to miss :D) I will file a request for check user. Thank you for bringing this "tribute act" to my attention but they shall never be greater than the real thing :D AngelOfSadness talk 21:55, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
