Best brownie baker in South Texas. Best brownie baker in South Texas.
Grandmother to two. Grandmother to two.
Daughter at Georgetown Law. Daughter at Georgetown Law.

I have just received a letter from someone telling me that she can get me into major hot water for not knowing that I had to go through a special procedure to get a new user name. This one is just what I had always used for years, everywhere I could .. and I had never even figured I would even use it. But I ended up using it a long long time later when I bumped into something that had happened to a friend here. But after all that went down, and this name being widely known across a certain portion of the web and recognizing that I really didn't want to be known here, too, by the this same name, I promptly chose a new name and then stopped using this one. There was no intent to "be" two people here, just to discard the use of the old name and thus "disappear". Well, I have spent a couple of hours looking for help, but it looks like I'm up the creek without a paddle, so the best I can do is to give the link to the user name I have been using since August 20 of 2006.

I am trying to find an administrator who can merge my two histories, but my uneducated "gee, this is how it's done everywhere ELSE" just isn't done, so my goose is cooked, it looks like.

YES YES YES -- TRCourage (as known widely across the web and also as Cricket's Courage ever since very early 1999) is the same person as Kiwi.

I hope I don't get banned, but if that is what happens, then it happens. I apologize for my ignorance. I was sure I had seen old retired accounts where people now used new names... but I never even wondered about there being some special thing to do to retire accounts. If someone can "retire" this for me, I'd be thrilled. ] 05:19, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
