A Christian is an adherent of Christianity. In the view of some Christians—notably, Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians, a Christian is anybody who agrees with them: their definition generally excludes the so-called main-line Protestant churches and liberals. At one time, it also excluded Roman Catholics, but this has changed in the last few decades.
