An Amusing Dialogue

"is there a reason for signing a petition regarding chon prostitutes?" Is there a reason you had to use a highly offensive slur in a reply to a 6-month old message on another user's discussion page? I don't even agree with most of that user's views, but that one-line reply you left, on a 6-month old message no less, containing a racist slur just seemed like the height of dickishness. Ledtim 11:47, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm very sorry if something I said offended you, but I'm now a little confused because I don't recall ever intentionally using a racist slur in any of my edits, talk pages, or anywhere else on wikipedia. But thanks for caring. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sennen goroshi (talkcontribs) 13:30, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
The irony of you giving another user a lecture on racism on the very same page you call comfort women "chon prostitutes" was too delicious for me to not bring it up. Hilarious. "I would have imagined that no one apart from the worst trolls and anon IPs would stoop as low as to use racial slurs in wikipedia." Indeed.

Ledtim 14:54, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

let me try one more time - I don't recall saying anything racist, what exactly did I say, that offended you so much? Sennen goroshi 15:11, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
What a liar! You intentionally referred to "chon prostitute" to disdain Korean as if it were nothing important. You know what? The Comfort women consisted mostly of Japanese women who were originally doing their job before serving for the military. That means Japanese comfort women were honorable Japanese prostitutes unlike Korean women hunted by the force of Japanese war criminals. Beside, 'chon' is an abbreviated "Chosenjin", which is definitely a disdainful slur against Korean. You've flung out such the dirtiest and racist insults in Wiki. I'm concerning about the failure of your memory.--13:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Racist slurs

Perhaps you missed my last message before you wiped your talk page, since you claim you have no idea what I'm talking about. Here it is again
So you don't recall intentionally using racist slurs in any of your edits, talk pages, or anywhere else on wikipedia? Well, apparently you did, (and I quoted you and provided a link) in a reply to a 6 month old message that wasn't addressed to you on another users page. Unless someone hacked into your account to comment about the "chon", perhaps you should get checked for Alzheimer's? Or perhaps you are a gaijin in Japan who's not quite familiar with the Japanese language, picking up a few words and there, trying to use it at every opportunity to show off. Maybe you didn't understand what the word "chon" means and in what context it is used in. In that case, I'd advise you to avoid using words you don't quite understand from now on. Ledtim 15:21, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

nope after looking at my edits and your whining on my talk page, I don't see anything wrong with anything I have typed. You complained about the use of the word chon? After searching for chon in wikipedia, then double-checking on the racial slurs article, then using yahoo's search engine, I have found out - chon refers to Korean currency, also CHON is also a chemical term. Stop whining and find something constructive to do.Sennen goroshi 15:18, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
weird...if people take such offence to the word Chon - then this restaurant is damn offensive http://www.wuchonhouse.com/ as is this recipe http://www.recipezaar.com/191137 ..hmmm now it makes more sense http://www.koreanfeast.com/Recipe.html "A variety of flavorful, colorful pan-fried dishes (chon or jon) are an important part of Korean cuisine." did I commit the unforgivable act of calling someone "a pan fried dish" ? damn...i should be banned from editing wikipedia for life, for that evil slur. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sennen goroshi (talkcontribs) 15:24, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
I've never heard the word 'chon' being used in anything other than a complimentary manner, perhaps it was used in a different way, a long time ago - but I've only ever heard it used in a friendly manner - don't blame me if people take offence - maybe they just have a chip on their shoulder or something.
"Or perhaps you are a gaijin in Japan" please don't use offensive words such as gaijin. This word is controversial in its use and causes offence to many, perhaps you should improve your knowledge of what is and isn't offensive, before you use such terms. thanks.Sennen goroshi 15:28, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh, please, all the examples you gave of the word "chon" is in the Korean language. Why would that be relevant, when "chon" is a slur against Koreans in the Japanese language? I'm curious now. What ever did you mean by "chon prostitutes"? Did you just insert a random word that sound funny in front of the word "prostitute" for absolutely no reason? Don't feign ignorance please, it's quite frankly pathetic. OK then, if you still say that you have no idea what the word "chon" means, which you somehow used even though you don't know what it means, here are some links

http://www.bookrags.com/List_of_ethnic_slurs (there's chon there)
http://ja.wikipedia.org/チョン (Here is it again, this time in its original Japanese form)

Oh, by the way, if you find Gaijin offensive (you are just grasping at straws now), why'd you use it yourself in this very talk page before you wiped it today?

Stop being a hypocrite please. It reflects badly on you.Ledtim 15:48, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Gaijin

It is more than acceptable for me to use gaijin, because I am a gaijin - in the same way that someone black might refer to themselves as "nigga" but I would never dream of using that word, because Im not black. That seems obvious. and why are you giving me links refering to Japanese pages? Was I using Japanese when I used that word that made you sooooo angry? Is this Japanese wikipedia? no and no. BTW would you like some cheese to go with your whine?Sennen goroshi 15:53, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Tsk tsk, now that feigning ignorance doesn't work, you resort to childish insults. "Would you like some cheese with your whine?" How original. So, according to you, it's acceptable to use romanized racial slurs from foreign languages in Misplaced Pages? If that's where you stand, that says so much about you.

Ledtim 16:02, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

oh yes and.....try to work out how much I care about you disliking the words that I use. Work out how much your comments will cause my attitude to change, and work out how much you are wasting your time, whining and crying like a little girl. Have a wonderful day full of happiness and smiles :) Sennen goroshi 16:01, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Of course, I don't really give a damn what you write. It's a free Internet. But please, don't lecture people on racism then. Nobody likes a hypocrite.

Personal attack?

are you done yet? this was mildly entertaining for a brief moment, but it has become a little tedious. I might find something a little less boring to do, such as picking my nose or counting the hairs on my ass. But don't worry, everything you said was so valid and meant so so so so much to me, I care - no really..I really really really care. And since you asked, yes I think it is more than acceptable to use the word 'chon' there are so many ways to use it, and I use it only in the nice way. In the caring and loving way. So bye bye, it was fun, now go stalk someone else, and scold them if there are any obscure terms that you find offensive. Sennen goroshi 16:11, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

It's been fun for me too. Nothing like exposing an immature hypocrite racist for what he is to start off the day. Ledtim 16:13, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
be careful, personal insults are a no no in wikipedia, if i were vindictive, i would report you - and im sorry did you expect to find nice people online? nope - that is what the real world is for - take a look at it sometime.Sennen goroshi 16:17, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Are you actually threatening to report me? Har har, I dare you, sir. You sure have moxie.

Ledtim 16:21, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

report you? did i say that i would report you? nope. I said IF I WERE VINDICTIVE (which by the nature of that comment, implies that I am not) but be careful with your rude attitude and personal attacks, someone less forgiving than me, might report you one day.Sennen goroshi 16:48, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Of course you are not reporting me just because you are a nice person. It has nothing to do with the fact you used a racial slur. Nothing to do with the fact you are the one who resorted to childish insults as soon as playing dumb stopped working. Nothing to do with the fact that you said you find nothing wrong with using romanized racial slurs on Misplaced Pages. "My rude attitutude and personal attacks," you are slipping into hypocritical territory again.

Accusation of a Rapist?

I am flattered but a little concerned with the obsession you are developing for me. I realise that I must have made such an impact on your otherwise uneventful day, but to devote so much time and attention on me is a little concerning. Perhaps there are people in the real world you could spend this much time thinking about? Maybe you could actually spend time on someone who cares as much about you, as you do about them - when your devotion is returned, it is such a warm and fluffy feeling. Be careful though, these feelings, no matter how 'right' and 'wholesome' they feel to you, can be a little upsetting for the recipient - it's like raping someone, the rapist might be having a great time, but the rape victim, normally feels slightly less appreciative of the sexual encounter. note - my comments are based on the assumption that you actually have friends and a social life in the real world. have fun.Sennen goroshi 15:43, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Sennen goroshi dares to compare your opponent, Ledtim with rapists? OMG! This should be reported to Wiki administration and it's time for Sennen goroshi to say good bye to English Wiki forever because you will be evicted soon. You implies enough that Ledtim's responses to you is like crimes done by rapists which is surely a false assumption.
Ledtim, just ignore the absurd threats by Sennen goroshi. If someone should be kicked out from wiki, that is Sennen goroshi who've poured out numberless offensive racial slurs and personal abuses against Korean. Personal insult is no no?
