Kercher was found in her bed not fully clothed and with her throat cut on november 2 after spending three months in Italy. She had celebrated ] with friends the night before on the programme and had headed home. There was evidence on her body that she had had sex not long before her death, but the coroners couldn't establish any evidence that she had been raped. Her two mobile phones, found close to her home in Perugia, carry her fingerprints and an as yet unidentifed print. The six-and-a-half hour post-mortem also revealed that Meredith Kercher had been ] with a small ]. Police are examining photographs on her facebook page. Meredith Kercer born in 1986 in the United Kingdom, dead on november 2 2007 in Perugia, Italy was part of the Erasmus student exchange programme, and had been in Italy for three months after completing her degree course in Britain. Kercher was found dead on november 2 and post mortem has found out that she was killed with a small penknife.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the case, a female American student and her Italian boyfriend, and an African male, believed to be the killer.
