| In her book, "Images Of America : City Island and Orchard Beach" the late Catherine Scott said there was a Typhoid Quarantine Hospital on Rat Island in the 1830's but it closed because of storm floods. Alice Payne is over on Reville Street and she might know cause she wrote "Tales of the Clamdiggers. | |||

I do not know of any website that exists.
In her book, "Images Of America : City Island and Orchard Beach" the late Catherine Scott said there was a Typhoid Quarantine Hospital on Rat Island in the 1830's but it closed because of storm floods.
