Deleting content is not always vandalism
Deleting Muhammad picture is not vandalism. When the content is disputed then adding them is as bad as deleting them. However, we should concentrate on solving this problem in better way. Please help me in improving Including Muhammad Pictures Against wiki-policies so that we can file an arbitration case. --- A. L. M. 21:20, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Regarding the words of Ibn Qayim
Salamun alaykom. We have a discussion regarding the correct translation and the actual meaning of something written by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya. We might need an opinion from some native arabic speakers in order to reach consensus. If this caught your interest, feel free to join our discussion at Talk:Hadith of Sabra reporting on the prohibition of Mut'ah. Thank you. Hamid-Masri 11:36, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Stop
Please stop disrupting the Deobandi article. Although the scholars from Darul uloom disagreed on various points with Imam Ahmed Raza Khan, they were serious about their faith and followed Tariqas. The Salafis had some commonalities with them on some matters of Tawassul and that's why the Saudis sponsored many of their Madrassas. Wassalam. --Nkv 15:03, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Mufti Taqi Uthmani is a prominent Deobandi Scholar today. Here's what his bio says. . He's a Sufi. The Darul Uloom site itself attests to their acceptance of Sufism. . You're edits are partisan, wrong and disruptive. --Nkv 17:23, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Kanzul Iman
Misplaced Pages is not for source material. If the text of Surah Al-Fathiha (note what the correct title should have been) and all the other surahs are not already on the web, then post them to Wikisource. Here, I recommend you to start with just one short article about Kanzul Iman. -- RHaworth 16:49, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
How to revert
Assalamoalaikum I wish to ask that Can I Remove the Prophet's(S.A.W) Picture from that section NOW.
- How can I revert the Matter.
- How can I Create Multi pages Article.
Shabiha 09:12, 19 May 2007 (UTC)Shabiha
- For the pictures I will try to find arbitration and working on User:ALM scientist/image dispute. When we are right then we will succeed. If we fail even then no worries because at least we tried our best. :)
- Multi-page article? Article supposed to have only one page. It might give links to other pages that are other articles. To create new article just write it name in search box on the left hand side. For example I write there Shabiha. If the article already exist you will get it otherwise it will give link to create the article. Remember to create only article which add value to encyclopedia, otherwise your article will be deleted.
- To revert: You could use popups Misplaced Pages:Tools/Navigation_popups. However, I do not use them and I simply see article hitory and compare current version with older version. Then I click on the older version and save it. Revert when it is necessary, otherwise go to talk page. Tell others what you wish to do and then make a change. Keep other people with you by posting on the talk. Wassalam. --- A. L. M. 19:55, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Debate
Assalamu alaikum Shabiha. From your edits of late, I get the idea that you have a dangerously anti Deobandi stance. Regardless of what Misplaced Pages says or becomes, you should take care of your Iman. I'd recommend that you take a look at this article by Shaykh Nuh Keller (who is a Sufi and a Shaykh of the Shahdilli Tariqa current living in Jordan). It discusses the divide between these two great schools of Islamic thought in India. Please read through it carefully and May Allah keep you on the Sirat-e-mustaqim . Wassalam. --Nkv 07:28, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Raza Academy
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Raza Academy, by Tickle me (talk · contribs), another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Raza Academy fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Raza Academy, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:07, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Nazdi
A tag has been placed on Nazdi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to a nonexistent page. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WebHamster 17:25, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- actually it's a recursive redirect.

Deobandi
Please do not insert your own personal unsourced point of view into the article, as it is in violation of the official Misplaced Pages:Neutral point of view policy. In addition, please do not parrot my edit summaries as it is trolling; you should also review the official Misplaced Pages:Civility policy. MezzoMezzo 09:50, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- You are free to disagree with my edits; there is nothing wrong with this nor is there anything wrong with discussing it on article talk pages. You are not, however, free to insult me as you did in this edit summary and this talk page comment. You have violated the official Misplaced Pages:No personal attacks policy in doing so and I have noted this on the respective article talk pages as well. I hope that in the future we can continue to sort this dispute amicably, but if you attack me again - as you have done so in other past instances - you WILL be reported. You have been warned. Islamic views of Muhammad
Please don't add islamic "honorifics" to articles, as you did to Islamic views of Muhammad. They are not neutral and they don't conform to Misplaced Pages:Manual of Style (Islam-related articles). Thank you. --Wasell 04:13, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Kanzul Iman
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Kanzul Iman, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and Misplaced Pages's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Stifle (talk) 11:35, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Hazrat Sharfuddin Shah Wilayat Sahab (R.A)
A tag has been placed on Hazrat Sharfuddin Shah Wilayat Sahab (R.A), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages per CSD A7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Misplaced Pages criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Voxpuppet (talk • contribs) 22:45, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Raza Academy.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Raza Academy.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 17:53, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Sufism
Wa `alaykum as-salām. Sure I am interested in contributing to any topic related to Sufism. I have a number of resources, books etc, and specifically I can provide references/sources to articles. However most of my time is spent on wikibooks and I my contribution here can be complementary at best.--Shahab 01:54, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 19:25, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Re: TaajuSh Shariah Hadrat Allama Mufti Mohammed Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari Al-Qaadiri
Hi Shabiha,
Thanks for your message regarding TaajuSh Shariah Hadrat Allama Mufti Mohammed Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari Al-Qaadiri. I'm going to see if I can't explain to you a little bit why I tagged it for deletion and some of the problems that I see with it.
First, I should tell you that the article has not been nominated as an article for deletion, and as such you don't need to defend it on the talk page. Rather, it has been proposed for deletion, which means that it will automatically be deleted five days from when I proposed its deletion unless you remove the tag at the top of the article. You can do this at any time, and doing so will mean that your article is no longer proposed for deletion.
However, I have to tell you that the problems I see are severe enough that, if you remove the tag without addressing them, I will nominate the article for deletion, which will involve several days of discussion and end in a binding consensus. The problems I see are as follows:
- The article does not cite any reliable sources.
- The article is not written from a neutral point of view.
- This is probably the most severe of the problems with the article. You must remember that Misplaced Pages is meant to be written for all audiences, not just Muslims. As such, the usage of terms like "illustrious", "tender age", "his eminence", etc. are improper here. The articles on Muhammad and Moses avoid the usage of such terms.
- The article does not properly establish the notability of its subject, only making the unsupported claim that he is a great scholar in the Islamic world.
I hope this helps a bit in understanding why this article has been tagged. I've added some other tags to the article in an effort to attract the attention of other editors who may be able to help you fix it. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know. --jonny-mt(t)(c) 01:31, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Reply from Barelvi Scholar
Wa alaikum assalam. I can't tell much about myself except that I am a Certified Islamic Scholar, an ardent follower of the teachings of AlaHazrat and have devoted my life to safeguard the sanctity of the Holy Prophets and the Holy Saints against those who try to undermine their high status esp. the wahhabis, deobandis, shiites, qadyanis(ahmadis), jamat e islami, nadwis, Ahle hadith, Ahle Quran (chikralvi)etc. --Barelvi Scholar 17:42, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Mawlid
Hi Shabiha, thank you for your note on my talk page. I have noticed that there seems to be an edit war going on in this article and would like to help you all to reach consensus. See you on the talk page. → AA — 09:33, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi again. Please comment on my proposal for the restructuring of the article. Thanks. → AA — 18:37, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
I have asked MezzeoMezzo to respect a 0RR approach on this article and would like to request the same of you too. What it means is that we do not revert any changes but rather if we disagree on something, we take it to the talk page and get the other's response before taking any further action. This will be much more productive for the article. TIA. → AA — 15:12, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- I note you've added Hasan to the list but have not added any references. Is it meant to be attributed to the existing reference (Britannica)? → AA — 15:12, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Shabiha, I got involved in this article at your request and have tried to assist both you and MezzoMezzo to work constructively to build the article. I have asked both of you to respect a 0RR approach and discuss changes. I have to note that MezzoMezzo has abided by this but will ask you again to discuss changes and not revert. You should also take some time to read the Manual of Style (including WP:MOSISLAM) as changes you make should adhere to those and other relevant policies (WP:NPOV, WP:NOT). I am not sure what your objection is to the restructuring which is intended to prevent the article from simply becoming a list of opinions but to provided reasoned arguments and rebuttals. No one is going to use Misplaced Pages as evidence to start celebrating Mawlid or stop celebrating it if they already do so and seeing it in this light is not going to help us build a neutral article. I am happy to discuss any issues you have in the talk pages (or via email). → AA — 20:44, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Re: comments on my talk page
If you have an issue with my edits, please discuss it on the article's talk page. Insults directed at me are trolling and are not welcome.
You are free to have your own opinions, but please stop calling me derogatory terms such as "wahabi" or "fascist", especially on my talk page. MezzoMezzo 20:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Shabiha, be mindful of our policies on WP:CIVIL & WP:NPA. Your comments are clearly meant as an attack and any further violations are likely to result in a block. I would request that you do not use the term "Wahabi" to refer to any editor on Misplaced Pages. → AA — 21:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
November 2007
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Barelwi. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. → AA — 21:21, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
