RETIRED FOR GOOD FOR THE RIGHT REASON

My faith in God is what is important in my life and I've come to the point in my life where I'm just falling victim to too many distractions: politics, Misplaced Pages, etc. Those things just aren't worth it. They're temporary and are a waste of my time and energy. I need to concentrate on my faith not just for myself, but for my family, too. They need me more than I need Misplaced Pages or political blogs and websites, and I need God more than those things, too. I'm leaving for the right reasons this time and I won't be coming back. I will be making a real, lasting difference elsewhere in the world.

To those editors on "my side," I thank you for your kindness and friendship.

To those editors on "the other side," I'm not going to leave you with any smarmy or otherwise hostile remarks. I will say that I once believed as you do and I sincerely hope and pray someday you will find what I have. It changed my life. HE changed my life.

Farewell to all, and may God bless you.
