Marek Józef Gróbarczyk (born March 13, 1968 in Nowy Sącz) is Polish engineer and manager, who currently serving as a Minister of Maritime Economy in Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński government.
A graduate of Maritime Academy in Gdynia and Technological-Agricultural Academy in Bydgoszcz, he spend a number of years after finishing studies as an officer in western civilian fleets. After this he went to private business (housing) and public service. He was a member of the boards of state-run oil corporations.
After resignation of Maritime Economy Minister Rafał Wiechecki on August 13, 2007 (Wiechecki's party, League of Polish Families, broken the coalition with Law and Justice), Prime Minister Kaczyński named Gróbarczyk as the new minister. During his speech, Kaczyński mistakenly spelled new minister's name as Ogarczak.
Gróbarczyk is non-partisan. After Law and Justice electoral defeat he will step down with all government.
