:::: I just checked the ] page on Misplaced Pages. The article states |

However, significant content removals are usually not considered to be vandalism where the reason for the removal of the content is readily apparent by examination of the content itself, or where a non-frivolous explanation for the removal of apparently legitimate content is provided, linked to, or referenced in an edit summary. An example of blanking edits that could be legitimate would be edits that blank all or part of a biography of a living person.
Admittedly, in my initial edits I forgot to mention the reason for the edit in the Edit summary, but in subsequent edits I gave both reason and source. I noticed that you have quoted the full sentence from the article and hope this matter is now resolved.] 18:03, 19 March 2007 (UTC) |

*It is. In the future do not remove sourced material from articles without consensus and discussion on talk pages. Thanks. ] 18:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC). |

:*I agree that the discussion page is important. And I believe that some contributors jump the gun on calling things vandalism rather than using the discussion page to understand the edits. The discussion page is a two-way street. What may seem like vandalism to one party, may seem an obvious article correction or adjustment to another. |
::In the interest of harmony, I suggest we all take ''fewer shots'' at each other, and use the discussion page. Declaring ''vandalism'' should also be a CONSENSUS, not simply one person's opinion. ] 19:35, 26 April 2007 (UTC) |

I have placed a warning on Smee's talk page for reverting without regard to the discussion or consensus. I used exactly the same symbol and language that she used here, except I did not call it vandalism. Interestingly enough, she has objected to the use of the symbol on her page though she used it here on yours. ] 21:52, 26 April 2007 (UTC) |

I have modified your unfortunate statement in guitar "While the lute was then becoming popular in other parts of Europe, the Spaniards did not take to it well because of it's association with the Moors '''and their oppressive rule'''. " |
A little research will alert you to the fact that the Iberian Moors presided over one of the most tolerant and enlightened regimes of that period in Europe, in stark contract to the oppressive "christian" kingdoms of the dark ages and later, which as Granada fell were just warming to their great witchhunts and inquisitions.
