Tom Marvolo Riddle (born c. 1926) is a fictional character in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He was a student at Hogwarts fifty years before the events of the books and kept a diary.
Riddle later adopted the name Lord Voldemort, an anagram of his name: Tom Marvolo Riddle = I am Lord Voldemort
Since Lord Voldemort and Tom Riddle are the same character, they are covered in the same article.
