Tom Marvolo Riddle (born c. 1926) is a fictional character in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He was a student at Hogwarts fifty years before the events of the books and kept a diary.
Riddle later adopted the name Lord Voldemort and became a powerful Dark wizard.
