Kaltura
I am trying to get an article about– Kaltura, Inc – included in Misplaced Pages, but have run into difficulty, and I’m not sure why my article is being deleted, and is now protected and cannot be created at all.
Kaltura is a NY-based company that was founded in 2006, and provides a technology platform for collaborative rich-media, also known as group-video making. Since its launch, Kaltura was selected as the People’s Choice at the TechCrunch40 leading industry event in San Francisco on September 18, 2007 (http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/09/18/kaltura-wins-spot-as-40th-company-at-techcrunch40/), and the company recently (December 21, 2007) won the People’s Choice award (over 250,000 users participated in voting) in the video sharing category for the Mashable Open Web Awards (http://mashable.com/2007/12/21/open-web-awards-winners/).
Kaltura’s technology powers the Kaltura.com site, where users can create collaborative videos on any topic of their choice, as well as other partner video and social sites that desire to offer collaborative video making capabilities.
Kaltura has recently even created an extension to the media-Wiki platform (it is to be announced very shortly)
Hundreds of thousands of visitors have visited the company’s site – www.kaltura.com - since it’s launch in September 2007. Thousands of musicians, fans, filmmakers and bloggers have embedded Kaltura’s widgets on external sites. For example, many MySpace musicians have created group music videos for their songs and posted the videos as widgets on their MySpace pages for their fans to interact with (see below for a list of sample widgets on MySpace profiles and other sites). In addition, over 200,000 users have added Kaltura’s Facebook applications, based on the company’s technology platform (see applications at http://apps.facebook.com/friendsvideocard/ and http://apps.facebook.com/groupalbum/).
The company was founded by four industry veterans –
Ron Yekutiel, CEO, former CEO and co-founder of Destinator Technologies
Shay David, CTO, was co-founder of Destinator Technologies
Dr. Michal Tsur, President, was co-founder of Cyota (acquired by RSA Security)
Eran Etam, VP R&D, was VP R&D of ICQ (acquired by AOL).
Based on the information above, I would like to recreate the article for Kaltura. Please advise how I can go about moving this process along. I am happy to discuss this further and provide any additional information that might be required.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
