I apologize if you feel that I have treated you in an unfair way. Be assured that that was in no way my intention. As a new user, you should be aware that many of your contributions are going to be reverted until you get the hang of how Misplaced Pages works. It's okay - we've all been there! Your contributions are indeed welcome and appreciated, so don't get your head down. I'm here if you need any help. :-) ] ] 21:38, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
:There is always plenty to do! And you're always encouraged to ] and go ahead and edit. Again, please don't get discouraged if you're reverted often when you first start out here; it happens to most new users. Before diving in, you might want to peruse Misplaced Pages's various policies and guidelines. A good place to start is the ]. You seem to have the basics down, so ] might be of more use for you. As always, don't hesitate to contact me; I'll try to answer as quickly as possible, and I'm more than happy to help a new editor on their way. Cheers, ] ] 06:09, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Calm down. Misplaced Pages is about all notable topics, and if topics cannot assert notability, why should they be included? Otherwise, the encyclopedia will be filled with articles that are just compilations of fan stuff and wont be in any way informative. You are more than welcome to help build up articles, or even help save or resurrect topics you feel shouldnt be deleted provided you can find some sourcing to establish notability, but otherwise realize that every encyclopedia has parameters of notability, which gives us a guide to what is notable and not. ] (]) 22:09, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
:JS wants the people he upsets to "Calm down," but very often when an AfD is not going his way, he gets extremely rude and upset himself, regardless if it's a regular user or an admin. ] (]) 22:42, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
::I disagree with the word "very" and possibly "often", but unfortunately cannot disagree with the rest. Still, Blueanode, if you wish to make a positive difference in this then please ''calm down'' - Lord knows how long it took for me to learn this, but if you cannot contain yourself then walking away from the keyboard is a viable option. I specifically refer to insults with this - those are useless for any kind of productive discussion and are pretty much an admittance of loss. Everyone loses their tempers sometimes, but please try to avoid it. --]<font color="black">]</font><font color="green">]</font> 19:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
:::I'm not saying "Stop, you're wrong!" I'm saying that you ''need'' to be polite, even against your will, to get people to agree with you instead of shouting at them. You have my respect for trying to work for a change to the better --]<font color="black">]</font><font color="green">]</font>, typing with the smell of gunpowder on hands at 22:21, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
== Well, now you see how the system works. ==
Deletionists with bad tempers are encouraged to do so by those in charge, as you saw on the notice you filed. You even received a serious threat on JS's talk page. It's really bad when you find out that the higher you go up the totem pole, you see just how . It's extremely difficult to help this project, when it is far easier to destroy than it is to create, and when drama is encouraged on a site that needs none. JudgeSurreal is only a product of his peers that have exhibited similar personalities, right down to the completely condescending tone.
Keep working on the site if you want, but try and establish notability and verifiability as best you can on articles that people like JS love to copy-paste deletion argument templates and gobble up for easy brownie points. Don't stoop to their level. You have to attempt to always 'assume good faith,' . But also, don't try and get too involved with this site. I'm already kicking myself for the wasted thousands of image uploads that were laid to waste after a simple guideline change. It's only getting worse from here.
Good luck. Just hope an admin doesn't shuffle you around on a mailing list or a wikipedia admin IRC channel and get their buddies to gang up on you. There's a few true, good administrators out there (Kizor), but the might take a lead pipe to his head, too, if he continues to be objective. Being fair and impartial is a dangerous thing on this site. Cheers! ] (]) 02:52, 1 January 2008 (UTC) |

I abandoned wikipedia because of User:Judgesurreal777, and his unfair, uncivil deletionist rampage, which many editors believe is justified, however it isn't, people have worked hard to build wikipedia, and now he is simply tearing it down. I would recommend anyone to keep away from this battleground.
