Alright smartass, I added the information and source you asked me to, I put the "ref" to where it belonged where you complained about, it was a valid and correct sentence so I don't see how you need to delete it unless you're as stubborn as a mule. | |||

Robin van Persie
Hey, just a quick message to say that I'm itching to improve an Arsenal player's article. I know you're still going with the Tel FAC (I'm letting you deal with the suggested improvements as they come, as I don't want to interfere), but what do you say we improve Robin van Persie to GA? At a (very quick) glance, it seems there's a lot which can be improved:
- The lead section needs rewriting
- The Personal Life section needs to be split up to form an Early Life and Outside Football section (the latter particularly notable due to his court case)
- The Early Career section needs expanding and citing
- The whole Arsenal Career section needs citing in much more detail
That list makes the article sound worse than it actually is; it's actually very detailed, has very good pictures, and seems reasonably well written. However, there's probably loads of information about him on the web (he's always giving interviews etc.), so there should be massive room for improvement.
Let me know! -GilbertoSilvaFan 16:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ok mate, that sounds good, I'll probably start working on it Tuesday. (Though feel free to make a start on it before then obviously!) -GilbertoSilvaFan 16:21, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Mate - just going through everything which needs doing to the article, and since I've been on Wikibreak for a while, I have a question about what is the "done thing":
- Do "International career" sections in player articles always have their own section? In the T. Henry article it has its own section, but in the G. Silva article it doesn't. I can't find a guideline on it or anything - what do you think I should do for the RVP article? Thanks for any advice or pointers. -GilbertoSilvaFan 17:39, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Haha, well done on the Tel article mate! It's been quite a while coming, hasn't it. I think in the end, most of the edits I made to the article actually caused more trouble than good (with regards to the FA nom)... but thank you for the half barnstar nonetheless. (I never knew a half barnstar existed, it's quite special.) Anyway, well done again. I'm having a rest from the RVP article by the way - just spent the week travelling around Brazil. Took a load of photos (most to do with articles related to Gilberto), so will spend the weekend posting them all etc. So, laters. -GilbertoSilvaFan (talk) 15:30, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Internet TV broadcast
Hey, a friend of mine who watches live football matches online told me to search for SopCast and TVUPlayer. I don’t watch TV online and my friend’s currently busy, so this is as far as I can get you. Hope these work out for you! —LOL (talk) 22:39, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info, I'd check it out! Chensiyuan (talk) 00:21, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Jamario Moon
Hey fellow Raptor fan, there's a newish article out on NBA.com on how "ready" Jamario was for the NBA back in 2001, according to Colangelo, and how he ended up in that free-agent camp (because all of Toronto's picks were traded off). http://www.nba.com/features/moon_071128.html Pandacomics (talk) 22:43, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks, I'd take a look at it soon! Chensiyuan (talk) 00:35, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Guess what, I've cited the interview before in the article, but feel free to increase the content. Chensiyuan 23:45, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Bob Cousy
Hi, I just saw your work on Bob Cousy. I have a book on Cousy at my local library, so I just wanted to give you a heads-up that I might start the push to FAC. Best, Nishkid64 (talk) 07:17, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- That's fantastic news, I'd keep a lookout. Chensiyuan 07:27, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
RvP
Having just read the article van (Dutch) I realise I am in the wrong and GilbertoSilvaFan is right - the van should be capitalised when not conjoined with the forename. I've now rolled back my own edit. My apologies & thanks for the alert. Qwghlm 18:48, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Miami Heat Template
Hi there. I was wondering whether you can help me out with the Miami Heat Template. As you can see only some of the players' positions appear. Im not sure of the reason why the others dont appear.Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 06:18, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, because they are not defined parameters? Chensiyuan (talk) 06:23, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have no idea, im not an expert. If you cant fix it, maybe we can wait for Soxrock to fix it. At the moment he is on an indefinite break from wikipedia. Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 06:59, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Kaká
Hi mate. About the Kaká article - I was gonna stick to doing Arsenal articles for a while, but I think Kaká's definitely needs a bit of a revamp (especially when you compare it to the TH and Ronaldinho articles). So I definitely wouldn't mind helping out with fixing it up a bit. However, I'm gonna work on getting RVP to GA first (it's taking longer than I expected, I am very slow/lazy/crap), then after that, I'll join in the Kaká party.
Actually, another question while you're here - on my talk page I got a message saying that Image:Bishopmill_Villa_crest.jpg is illegal blah blah - but the fair use rationale is exactly the same as Image:Arsenal FC.png, and both are official football club crests? Am I missing something? If Bishopmill Villa's crest isn't fair-use, then surely Arsenal's isn't either? (And vice versa, if Arsenal's is fair-use, surely Bishopmill Villa's is.)
Cheers, seeya. -GilbertoSilvaFan (talk) 14:43, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Fabregas

Oh and since you undid my edits for multiple times, I guess you should be warned for this as well.
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - 61.24
