NZNF

Molloy, thanks for your note about the copyright issue. As you know, we're claiming fair use, but if there are still concerns, it would be helpful if one of the NZNF leaders or the official spokesperson could outline those concerns, either on a talk page or by e-mail (via the "e-mail this user" function on the user pages), together with some evidence, or a clear statement, that the NZNF is the copyright holder. Many thanks, SlimVirgin 04:01, May 11, 2005 (UTC)

Also, about the quote you posted by jpgordon, I have a solution for you: "Dealing with grievances - If you think an administrator has acted improperly against you or another editor, you should express your concerns directly to the administrator responsible. Try and come to a resolution in an orderly and civil manner. However, if the matter is not resolved between the two parties, you can take further action according to Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution. There have been a number of alternative procedures suggested for the removal of sysop status but none of them have achieved consensus." This is from the Administrator Page of Misplaced Pages. If you have questions, just ask him or another admin. Though, it is true that many on here do not wish to tollerate those who spoute hate (me included), we try to set aside differences while on here. Cheers. - Molloy
Plus, I am sorry if I was harsh on you earlier. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 03:00, 13 May 2005 (UTC)

Images you upload

Please learn WP:RULES regarding adding images and provide source and copyright info for Image:Unzionist.jpg. For examples of using political cartoons, see e.g. propaganda or anti-Semitism. Note that this is an encyclopedia, not a blog: we do not take sides. Humus sapiensTalk 03:28, 13 May 2005 (UTC)

The image came from http://www.inminds.co.uk/un-zionist.jpg, though no copyright on this website of the photo. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 03:49, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
The website stated © Copyright Innovative Minds 1998-2004.. All Rights Reserved. Though, the photo is not sourced, so we could claim fair use. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 03:52, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
It is also featured here - Molloy
Molloy, go ahead and tag it as fair use or PD. Just like many photos you and I have discussed about, we have no clue who made it, when it was made, and what rules it has. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 03:58, 13 May 2005 (UTC)

Copied this from my Talk page because it belongs to this discussion. I must say that claiming PD for an offensive image of unknown origin and then switching it to fairuse... doesn't smell good. Humus sapiensTalk 04:48, 15 May 2005 (UTC)

Image:Unzionist.jpg was released into the public domain. It depicts a Zionist using the UN to hang a Palestinian, I think it would be welcome in the Zionism article in order to portray the Palestinian view of the Zionist movement. - Molloy
Public domain is not fairuse, so which is being claimed? And released by whom? El_C 09:52, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
I am claiming fair use. - Molloy

Titanic image

You recently uploaded Image:Titanic belford.gif. Can you please add the image's copyright information? Thanks MechBrowman June 29, 2005 14:34 (UTC)

The work is in the public domain, I have edited the image page with the info. - Molloy
Thanks MechBrowman June 30, 2005 14:54 (UTC)

Image:Foxman.jpg

What is the source of this image, and what grounds are there for the claim that it's copyright-free? I'm holding off on labelling it a copyvio for the moment (but please don't use it in an article until its status has been clarified). Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 5 July 2005 15:01 (UTC)

The Image was taken from the website of Focal Point Publications , and after contacting their webmaster to attain the copyright status, he infomed me that the image was released into the public domain by the photographer and is freely distributed. Molloy
