Semi-protection for five articles, an unusual request following an unusual situation. A very aggressive and highly persistent vandal is constantly vandalising five articles related to the South Carolina Gamegocks. The user 65.188.38.31 has been blocked for one week for incivility, edit warring and vandalism but immediately returned as 62.232.41.140 to continue his vandalism against the same articles. Now blocked under that IP as well, but immediately back again as 80.227.51.42, vandalising the same articles. As he is not registered, a semi-protection would keep him away and put an end to this never-ending parody. I thus request semi-protection for the articles that the user is constantly vandalising: South Carolina Gamecocks, South Carolina Gamecocks football, Carolina-Clemson Rivalry, Steve Spurrier and finally University of South Carolina steroid scandal. Semi-protection. For the past month or so I've been reverting additions to this article from IP addresses which add gossip column-style witterings of a mainly absurd, but vaguely critical nature. All editors involved in this dispute (including myself) have explained their reasoning for favoring the edits and reverts in which they engaged. There is a majority of four-to-two in favor of a version other than the one currently used on the page. Perhsps we should consider adopting this version, or unprotecting the page. indefinite semi-protection Vandalism The "original rules" section gets repeatedly vandalised by random visitors. Every time I visit the page I find new "original" rules, or that this section has been blanked, or that the text has been rewritten. It redirects to the wrong place, and I don't see why it is protected.

Weeaboo should redirect to Otaku or possilby Japanophile...

It probably doesn't merit a full article by itself though...but if this isn't fixed one might need to be created.
