Dana Vespoli (born on 22 September 1972 in the San Francisco Bay Area, California) is an American pornographic actress.
Vespoli gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature from Mills College, where she was also co-captain of the Varsity Rowing team. This also gave her a name, as Vespoli is a brand that makes rowing boats. She entered the porn industry relatively late in life at age 29. She previously worked as a stripper under the name Christa at several Bay Area clubs. In 2007, she was named Directrix of the Year at the Adam Film World Guide Awards.
Vespoli married adult actor Manuel Ferrara in January 2005 and as of February 2007 gave birth to their son.
Tattoos
- 6-story building next to a palm tree and a sun above them – right pelvis.
- Venus symbol and with two paddles crossing it – just below her left breast.
- A dragon bisected by characters that look like "DUEAD" – outer right forearm.
- "SAUDADE" – right arm near the shoulder.
- An image of kokopelli – behind her right shoulder.
- "WILLIS" – palm-side of her right wrist.
- "FIONA HAS WINGS" – inside right forearm, possibly a homage to Fiona Apple's tattoo "FHW" which according to herself stands for "Fiona has wings".
- On the inside of her right upper arm is a tattoo that quotes from Rilke's Sonnets to Orpheus:
- Jubilance knows and longings acquiesce only lament still learns
- Her girlish hands all night long measure the old cursing cry when
- unbloody, despite her awkwardness, she lifts a constellation of our
- voice, unclouded by her breath, into the sky:
