Skip Bayless is a nationally syndicated sportswriter. Often seen on ESPN2's morning show, Cold Pizza, and the afternoon show 1st and 10. Bayless writes columns for ESPN.com's Page 2 and occasionally substitutes as host for syndicated radio program The Jim Rome Show.
He is notorious for hating hockey, insisting that Ohio State stole the 2003 BCS championship from Miami, having a strange hatred/obsession with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens, and admittedly being addicted to Diet Mountain Dew.
Bayless has written for the Miami Herald, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune, and most recently the San Jose Mercury News. He has also written several books regarding the Dallas Cowboys.
He is a Graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is from Oklahoma and is brother to chef Rick Bayless.
