Summary

Commercially available album cover that was photographed from an original copy of the album by uploader. It has been reduced to approximately five percent of the surface area of the original image (the area of the original album cover from which it was photographed. Original photograph is by Dick Zimmerman; art direction is by Roy Kohara; design is by John Heiden.

Rationale

Image is front album cover, used as primary means of identifying the subject of the article. It is not replaceable by a free image because no free-content image exists that is of equal relevance to the discussion of this particular subject (the album).

Licensing

This image is of a cover of an audio recording, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher of the work or the artist(s) which produced the recording or cover artwork in question. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of such covers solely to illustrate the audio recording in question, on the English-language Misplaced Pages, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under the copyright law of the United States.
