Danny Welbeck (born 26 November, 1990 in Manchester, England) is an English footballer who currently plays for the English Premier League club Manchester United youth squad. His main position is as a striker. He has great potential and is agile and tall. People have suggested him to become the next home-grown striker of United since Mark Hughes.
On 21 January, 2008, Welbeck made his premier appearance for the first team squad in an testimonial versus Al-Hilal.
