In 1990 GnR goes back to the studio with new drummer Matt Sorum, and keyboardist Dizzy Reed. IN 1991 they release Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, which debuted as #2 and #1 on the charts.

Then Izzy quits and is replaced by Gilby Clarke, GnR go on a 28 month long world tour including the Freddy Mercury tribute. While this was happening "November Rain" was the most requested video on Mtv and eventually won a VMA for best cinematography.

In 1993 GnR released a collection of punk covers entitled The Spaghetti Incident Which, because grunge had started taking over, sold poorly. In 1998 Axl went back into the studio, accompanied by;

And in 1999 came out with 1 new song, "Oh my God" which went on the End of Days soundtrack. They are supposed to come out with a new album called Chinese Democracy, but thats been delayed over a year, they have been dropped by Interscope and well, not too many people care anymore.
