Gregg Popovich (born November 24, 1948 in East Chicago, Indiana) is a pro basketball coach. He is the current head coach of the San Antonio Spurs and guided them to NBA championships in 1999, 2003, and 2005. He won the NBA Coach of the Year Award in 2002-2003.

He is one of only five coaches to win three or more NBA Championships.

Popovich was a 1970 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
